Pair of Oil Paintings on Boards of Floral Still Lifes
Item Details
A pair of oil paintings on boards of floral still lifes. Included is a painting on canvas board of white and pink roses with dark green leaves. This painting is dated ‘83’ and signed ‘ME. Hall, G.C.S.’ to the lower right. Also included is a painting of stylized pink and white roses arranged in a sinuous blue vase, portrayed with textural impasto and expressionistic brushstrokes. This work is signed with an artist’s emblem that appears to read ‘CE’ to the lower right. Both compositions remain unframed.

- some paint loss and rubbing along and near edges of compositions.
