Assorted Antique and Vintage Intaglio Prints
Item Details
A collection of four assorted antique and vintage prints. The first is a hand-colored stipple engraving printed from the original antique plate carved by S. Angell after an original painting by very well-listed French artist François-Édouard Picot (1786 – 1868), titled Family Jars. The second is a hand-colored engraving after an original painting by English-American painter Henry Warren (1794 – 1879). The third is a stone lithograph from Heinrich Hess and JG Schreiner’s 1837 publication Die Fresco-Gemälde der Königlichen Allerheiligen Hofkapelle zu München, titled Jeremias und Daniel. The final print is a hand-colored etching after an original hunting genre scene, signed illegibly in-plate to the lower left. The prints are presented without matting or framing, awaiting your choice of presentation.
