An East Asian ink wash landscape painting on linen. The piece depicts a mountainous landscape accented with trees, vegetation and small buildings. The work is rendered in a palette of grey and black against brown; it includes black calligraphy and a red seal to the upper left. It is presented under glass in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

- toning, foxing stains and discoloration to fabric; slight toning to matting; debris present under glass; nicks and scratches to frame; tears to backing paper.
