A serigraph on foil poster by Robert Indiana (American, 1928-) for The Santa Fe Opera. The piece announces the twentieth season of the Opera, with a dated medallion to the center highlighting the performances planned for the year. The piece features a sunburst orange and silver-tone ground with the central medallion featuring cobalt, aqua, orange and silver tones. The Santa Fe Opera is lettered in aqua with Twentieth Season in a silver tone and John Crosby, General Director in black. It is copyrighted Santa Fe Opera 1976 to the lower left and marked Robert Indiana to the lower right. Indiana is closely associated with the Pop Art movement, and his Love work for the Museum of Modern Art in New York was used by the United States Postal Service for their 1973 Love stamp.
