A hand-knotted Persian Kerman wool area rug. This room size rug features a palette of ivory, rose, cranberry, indigo, sky blue, greens, saffron, and ochre; displaying an over populated ivory field with floral motifs of sprays, palmettes, along with flower filled vases. The rug is finished with redone selvedges, later added, and both a natural warp fringe, and an applied knotted fringe added to the ends. Labeled to the reverse.
