Japanese Imari Ware Plates
Item Details
A set of four Japanese Imari ware plates. These items might also be described as shallow bowls and are decorated in shades of deep red and blue with gilt accents. They feature traditional Asian motifs such as birds and flowers with a center design and six similar images around the plate. The exterior of these pieces shows a blue floral motif on bright white ground and they are marked to the base with Japanese characters.
