World's Fair Chicago 1892-3 and St. Louis 1904 Silver Plate Collector's Spoons

A pair of antique commemorative silver plate collector’s spoons. This selection includes a spoon for the Chicago World’s Fair in 1892-3 and a St. Louis World’s Fair spoon from 1904. The Chicago spoon depicts the Electrical Building to the bowl and the St. Louis spoon depicts the Cascade Gardens, as well as the city seal to the handle. The St. Louis spoon is marked, ‘Conn. Silver Co.’ to the back. These pieces are accompanied by a fish-shaped figure made of brass.

- light surface scratches and tarnish; tarnish to fish.
