A color mezzotint on paper after an original 1890 oil painting titled Girlhood by listed portrait artist John Haynes-Williams (1836 – 1908). The piece depicts a portrait of a young woman with her curly hair spun into a loose bun on top of her head. She wears a white and lavender gown with a yellow flower pinned to her bust.
