Item Details

A vintage, Chippendale style, mahogany desk and side chair, by Flint & Horner Co., New York. The desk features a rectangular top with carved gadroon border, above a centered pencil drawer, over carved corner brackets and a kneehole. Flanking each side, are a small drawer, above a deep drawer, all having pierced-brass pulls. The case rests on four, acanthus carved cabriole legs with claw-and-ball feet. The mahogany side chair has a foliate carved crest rail and pierced back-splat, above an upholstered seat and shaped Marlborough legs.
