A hand-colored engraving printed from the original plate engraved by English artist William Satchwell Leney (1769 – 1831) after an original painting by French artist Jean Baptiste Isabey (1767-1855), titled Napoleon á Malmaison. The print depicts a formal portrait of Napoleon standing in uniform on the lawn of a massive building. The print’s title and artists’ names are printed to the lower margin. The piece is matted in white with several French lines and is presented without framing, awaiting your choice of presentation.

- light denting to edge of matting. Print is slightly loose and uneven within matting.
