Item Details
A group of 1981 Cincinnati Reds glasses. The glasses are identical. The graphics have players on the field inside a stadium holding a banner that says, ‘BASEBALLS BEST RECORD 1981’; another graphic of a banner adorns the top around the rim of the glass that says, ‘THE CINCINNATI REDS BASEBALLS BEST RECORD 1981 66-42’. Major League baseball players went on strike in 1981 which caused the season to be broken into two halves. Instead of taking the total wins for both halves to decide the winner of each division, the winning team from each half had to play each other.
