Tiffany & Co., Soldered Silver Plate String Holder

Item Details

A Tiffany & Co., silver soldered, silver plate string holder. The two piece spherical holder is chased with a wave and swirl pattern. When opened it reveals a deep chamber in which the string is stored. The lid is detailed with a hollow tip where the string can be threaded through. The underside of the holder is appropriately engraved with the hallmark, ‘Tiffany & Co., Makers Silver Soldered E.P.’.
