A gouache painting on paper of a couple, after Paul Gauguin’s Te Faruru. This piece depicts a nude couple in the boughs of a flower-like tree, the woman’s face turned toward the viewer. This piece is marked with a facsimile signature to its lower left corner, and is presented without a frame or hanging hardware. There is a pen notation to the verso reading ‘From Book Folio – Paul Gauguin watercolor, Cat. 58 Te Faruru (Here We Make Love).’
