A pair of hand-colored landscape etchings on paper. The first an 1886 hand-colored etching after an original 1884 painting by well-listed British painter Frederick Albert Slocombe (1847 – 1920), titled The Village of Chilton Foliat. The print is signed and dated in-plate to the lower left, and print information is printed across the lower margin. The second piece is an unmarked hand-colored drypoint etching of a stream cutting through a forested hillside. The print is unsigned. Both prints are presented without matting or framing.

Condition

- accretion across both prints, most notably dark spotty accretion to upper left of unmarked print. Light warping and creasing across both.
