Three antique hand-colored lithographs after original paintings by Robert Ronald McIan (British; 1803-1856) from the book The Clans of the Scottish Highlands published By Achermann & Co., London in 1847. Each print depicts a portrait of a highlander in traditional dress with the clan name printed below. The lithographer’s name is printed to the lower right of each print, and R.R.McIan Pinxt. is printed to the lower left. Presented as a collection of loose prints.

Condition

- light toning and scattered stains to prints. Curling to corners and wear to edges. Original binding attached to right side of prints.
