Music Box Accent Table with Marquetry Top

A music box accent table with a marquetry top. The veneered, mixed wood frame features a rectangular, cut-corner lid inlaid with floral bouquets and scrolled-foliate motifs. It opens to a divided interior and the table rises on four cabriole legs. The apron is embellished with lightwood stringing while the legs have scrolled foliates along the knees. To the underside of the table is a winding crank for the song ‘Speak Softly Love’.
