Item Details

A collection of vintage prints featuring fish and shell specimens, removed from publications. Five hand-colored etchings depict shell specimens and underwater plant life. Three larger hand-colored lithographs depict groupings of several types of molluscs. Seven color lithographs each feature an indivdual fish. The species name and a roman numeral are printed below each specimen. Presented as a collection of loose prints.

Condition

- toning and scattered foxing to prints. Wear to edges, most notably to fish prints. Minor curling to corners. One shell print has ghost image from another book page superimposed over image.
