Item Details
An acrylic painting on stuffed cotton, titled Chigire (ちぎれ, ‘Torn’) by Japanese artist Ai Yamaguchi (born 1977). This painting depicts a dark-haired nude figure on their back, arms outstretched to hold a length of hair in front of them. This work has been painted on white cotton, which has been has been mounted over padding onto a wooden board. There is a gallery label, signature, and hanging wire to the verso of the piece.
