A hand-knotted Pande Cameron Sidhara Indo-Persian area rug. This Indian-made wool rug features a crisp harshang pattern incorporating arabesqued palmettes, flowers, leaves, and vines over a cranberry-colored field. The palette is cranberry, cream, taupe, and slate blue. Framing the field are seven floral borders and a cranberry-colored outer guard border. The main border features a herati pattern over cream. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at top and bottom with long, fine wool warp fringe. It is labeled on the reverse.
