A collection of three hand-colored etchings on paper printed from the original plates etched by well-listed English painter and printmaker Walter Dendy Sadler (1854 – 1923). The prints included are titled The Cup That Cheers., A Pipe and a Glass, and Izaak Walton and his Pupil. The first depicts a woman pouring herself a cup of tea, the second depicts two men drinking and smoking together in an interior space, and the third depicts two men lying together beneath a tall lakeside tree. Each print is signed in-plate to the lower corner. The prints are presented without matting or framing, awaiting your choice of presentation.
Condition
- dark discoloration across all prints. Mold and water damage to upper corners. Light warping across both.
