A 2017 oil painting on canvas board by contemporary New Hampshire artist James Baldoumas titled The Pemi. The piece depicts New Hampshire’s Pemigewasset River lined with tall evergreens as it flows through the White Mountains. The work is rendered in textured impasto strokes utilizing a palette of earth tone green, blue, brown and grey hues. It is signed in blue paint to the lower left and presented unframed.
