Vintage Korean "Ham" Chest with Metal Accents

Item Details

A vintage Korean ‘ham’ chest with applied metal accents. The rectangular wood trunk features dovetail construction, and it rests on bracket feet. The sides and top of the trunk are embellished with decorative metal studs and corner pieces, some in the shape of flowers, and some in the shape of butterflies or moths. The trunk has metal wire handles on the sides, and an ornate brass clasp with an etched rooster on the front. There are no visible maker’s marks.

• Please be advised, furniture items must be picked up and removed by winning bidder during the scheduled pick-up time on pick-up day. A moving charge will be incurred by winning bidders for any items not picked up. If winning bidder chooses to not have the item moved for alternate pick-up, the winning bidder will incur a disposal fee to have the item removed.
