A hand-knotted Persian Kashan Style wool carpet runner. This rug features a palette of indigo, sky blue, ivory, rose, ochre, and saffron; beginning with a series of six palmette style medallions surrounded with an abundance of latticed floral motifs on an indigo field. The field is framed in a main flowering border on rose guarded by a pair of floral meander borders. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and an extended natural warp knotted fringe. Unlabeled.
