1903 Théodore Haviland Limoges Tableware
Item Details
A collection of 1903 Théodore Haviland Limoges porcelain tableware. Each of the eighteen pieces are hand decorated with burnished gilt trim along their scalloped, molded edges. The handles of the serving dish and sugar bowl are reminiscent of a grapevine, accented with delicate leaves and grapes. The pieces are finished with delicate gilt flourishes and scalloped lines. Each bears the underglaze mark: ‘Théodore Haviland, Limoges France, Patent applied for.’ The underlined ‘Théodore’ dates this pattern to 1903.
