A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Tabriz wool area rug. This rug features an indigo field with a palette of crimson, ivory, sky blue, rose, and tan, beginning with a central star medallion, with an abundance of floral motifs. The field is framed with herati patterned borders along with a pair of cross patterned borders. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges, and a natural warp double knotted fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
