Indian Postal Cabinet

Item Details

An Indian postal cabinet. The grid of twenty-four square mail slots sits stepped back on a simple table with conforming apron and block legs, joined by a box stretcher near the base. The wooden piece has been painted bright red to the exterior, with the inside of the cubes and the top of the table whitewashed. It is distressed throughout.
