A pair of vintage Lewis Carroll books. This collection includes an early-twentieth-century edition of Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There, published as part of the Altemus Young People’s Library by the Henry Altemus Company of Philadelphia between c. 1902 and 1920; this book is bound in cloth-covered board with pictorial decoration. Also included is a volume containing Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass, published by Macmillan and Co. of London in 1937; this book is bound in red leather with raised bands, gilt cover decoration and marbled endpapers.
