An hand-colored etching on wove paper printed from the original 1895 plate etched by English artist Leon Richeton (1854 – 1934) after an original painting by very well-listed British artist Frank Hyde (1849 – 1937), titled A little help is worth a deal of pity. The print depicts three monks in a small wooden boat trying to push themselves from a swamp with a long stick. Artist information and the piece’s title are printed to the lower margin. The print has delicate hand-coloring across. The print is presented without matting or framing, awaiting your choice of presentation.
