An original late-18th century botanical engraving on laid paper by very well-listed English botanist William Curtis (1746 – 1799), titled Salix monandra. from the 1777-1798 publication Flora Londinensis. The book catalogued the plants of the London area in the 18th century. The print depicts several close-up views of the plant with hand-coloring added at a later date. The print’s title is printed to the lower center margin. The piece is presented without matting or framing, awaiting your choice of presentation.
