Early to Mid 20th Century School Desk

An early to mid 20th century wood and metal school desk made by the American Seating Company of Chicago. The desk is designed with a formed tubular metal base, painted in black with adjustable height to the desk and the chair. The chair has a wooden slatted back and seat . The desk has a hinged lift lid with pencil groove and a round opening for an inkwell. Maker’s mark stamped to the inside of the desk and to the back of the chair.

  • The chair is being sold to benefit the Warren County Historical Museum.

Condition

Has separating wood and a split to the wood to the top, writhing to inside of the desk.
