A collection of six antique botanical engravings created from 1828-33 by very well-listed German botanist Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck (1776 – 1858) for publication is his collection Plantae officinales: Plantae medicinales oder Sammlung offizineller Pflanzen. The prints included are titled Triticum repens, Lin., Daphne Laureola Lin., Avena sativa Lin., Carex arenaria L., Plantago Cynops Lin., and Rumex nemorosus Schr. The prints’ titles are printed to their lower margins. The pieces are presented without matting or framing, awaiting your choice of presentation.
