Wilcox Silver Plate Compote

Item Details

A Victorian style silver plate compote designed with a square-shaped bowl. It has side handles, rounded shell-shaped corners, and an intricate chased design to the center of the bowl. The openwork base features a center finial with putti figures to the sides and a round base with embossed floral band to the edge. The bottom has the makers mark and ‘O 822’.

• The item is being sold to benefit the Warren County Historical Museum.

Condition

- minor surface wear including faint markings and minimal tarnishing.
