African Dogon Carved Granary Door

Item Details

A vintage African Dogon granary door, hand carved with seated figures to the sides at the top, with snakes to the outer sides and rows of human figures, turtles and birds within. The door has a sliding wood latch and wooden pins to the top and bottom on the right side. There is a wire on back for hanging with a tag which reads ‘Ouaga’.

• The item is being sold to benefit the Warren County Historical Museum.
