Item Details
An antique barrel top trunk. The trunk is fabricated with wood strappings, leather straps on the sides, metal fittings and hardware. When opened, the interior chamber is deep and the top of the trunk has five storage areas, three of which are latched. Period feminine fashion stickers adorn the interior.
- The trunk is being sold to benefit the Warren County Historical Museum.
Condition
Consistent with age and many voyages. The base of the trunk has some stains in the interior. One of the leather straps is torn. No key present, but all the latches are working, yet rusty.
