A hand colored engraving on paper titled Le Bain after Sigmund Freudenberger (1745-1801). This intaglio print depicts a servant bringing chocolate to her lady while she is bathing. The work is attributed in-plate to Freudenberger in the lower left and sculptor Antoine Louis Romanet in the lower right. It is presented under glass in a wood frame with hanging wire to the verso. A companion piece can be found in lot 17BOS167-152.

Condition

Good condition; minor scuffs on the framework, minor water damage
