A collection of three 1858 hand-colored stone lithograph botanical illustrations by very well-listed German-Dutch botanist and illustrator Carl Ludwig Blume (1796 – 1862). The illustrations are from the artist’s 1858-59 publication Collection des Orchidées les plus remarquables de l’Archipel Indien et du Japon. The prints included are plates 35, 52, and 63 and are titled, respectively, Hetaeria Lamellata. Hylophila Mollis, Gastrodia Javanica. G. Hasseltii. G. Verrucosa. Galera Nutans. Pogonia Crispata., and Pogonia Crispata. The prints’ title are printed to their lower margins, and areas of the plants throughout are numbered and labeled. The prints are presented without matting or framing, awaiting your choice of presentation.

Condition

- light yellowing, foxing, denting, and ripping across all prints.
