An assortment of sterling silver jewelry featuring Patricia Platero and Carolyn Pollack, including one pair of earrings, two bracelets, and two necklaces. The cross pendant by Navajo Diné silversmith, Patricia Platero, features an oval lapis lazuli cabochon accented by applied silver leaves; and is accompanied by a Milor box link chain. The necklace by Carolyn Pollack features a converter pendant or cross and brooch with an angel holding an overlaid heart, adorning multiple strands of liquid silver bugles, finishing in bolo style aglets. The earrings feature heart azurmalachite cabochons on french earwires. The bracelet by Carolyn Pollack features links housing composite cabochons comprised of gemstone chips, including coral, turquoise, lapis lazuli, jasper, and sugilite. The cabochons alternate with silver links adorned with various Native American motifs, including Tawa, ears of corn, sun, spirit bear with heartline, turtle, leaf, raincloud, and Kokopelli. Also included, is a link bracelet whose heart-shaped ‘broken heart’ links are accented with overlaid bandages, stitches, and textured accents. Each piece is either hallmarked as, or tested as sterling silver. The total group weight, inclusive of all materials, is 2.530 ozt.
