A mixed media painting, using watercolor over what appears to be thicker paint medium on paper, of a zebra by artist Billie Shinn Carr. This piece depicts the animal’s head and neck with special care, rendered in mottled shades of blue and pink. The zebra is painted with its head lowered, and its eyes looking out toward the right side of the composition. This painting is signed to its lower left and is matted under glass in a wood and gesso frame with a wire for hanging to its verso.
