A set of Federal style side chairs by Buccola. This pair of matching chairs features a curved crest rail with acanthus leaf carved embellishment over a shell motif and a pierced central splat with drapery swag and floral detail. The lower rail features additional scroll carved detail and reverse shell embellishment. The slip seat features an off white upholstery over thin apron sides rising on turned and tapered legs terminating on cylindrical feet. The underside is marked ‘Buccola’.
