A collection of hand-colored engravings of women on paper, printed from plates by by Dadley, thought to be English printmaker John Dadley (1767-1817) after drawings by Octavien Dalvimart. These prints depict women in turbans, in colorful draping garments, and in a draping veil, all against neutral grounds. These prints bear the name of the artists, as well as the publisher’s details to their lower edges, and are mounted under glass in black frames with hanging hardware to their versos.

Condition

- heavy toning, wrinkling, discoloration and tearing to all three prints; chipping and wear to the paint on all three frames; warping to the paper backing of the prints.
