Vintage Schlemmertopf Terracotta Covered Baker

Item Details

A vintage Schlemmertopf terracotta covered baker. The baker was cast in two pieces; a lid and base, with the name to one side and rooster forms molded into the lid. Each side is deep, with tall, decorative relief sides and an extended rim for listing and handling; it has a glossy liner glaze. The underside is marked “Scheurich – Keramik, W. Germany, Gesch G., 7002523.”
