Chinese Rosewood Jewelry Chest

A Chinese rosewood jewelry chest. The rosewood chest adorned with etched brass accents on the corners, handles, and latch, as well as a large ‘shu’ symbol of longevity on the lid. The lid opens to a shallow storage space above three narrow drawers, two with compartments for jewelry storage. The interior is lined in yellow brocade fabric with flowers, leaves, and ‘shu’ symbols. The piece is unmarked.
