Collection of Vintage B & G Copenhagen Porcelain Mother's Day Plates
Item Details
A collection of ten vintage ‘B & G Copenhagen’ limited edition “Mother’s Day” plates in an indigo over white glaze including years ‘1973, 1971, 1972, 1974, two from 1976, and 1983. The pieces depict imagery from the animal kingdom including birds, cats, horses, ducks, polar bears, swans, and raccoons. Each piece is marked in green to bottom with the ’B and G’ trademark. Also included are two Royal Copenhagen Mother’s Day plates from 1972 and 1973 and a 1972 German Marmot-China Mother’s Day ‘First Issue Limited-Edition Series’ plate with an image of a seal with pup.
