A pair of Japanese woodblock prints on paper. Included in the lot is a ukiyo-e print titled Portrait of Tomimoto Toyohina after Japanese artist Kitagawa Utamaro (1753-1806) that depicts a famous performer of the time from a series on beautiful women. A cartouche in the upper right contains Japanese text, and there is additional writing to the lower left. It is presented behind a paper mat. Also included is a print depicting a garden scene with text and censor’s seal to the lower left. Both prints are unframed.

- discoloration and foxing to prints; edge wear and creases.
