Item Details
A pair of ukiyo-e restrike woodblock prints on paper after Utagawa Kuniaki II (Japanese; 1835 – 1888). Each work depicts a triptych of prints adhered together depicting actors in various roles. To the bottom of each individual print the artist makers mark is present. The prints are presented matted in a textured mat under glass with a black metal frame.
Condition
- some wear and scratches to the frame; each glass could benefit from a cleaning; some warping and creasing to the paper; to the verso of each work, some wear and marks.
