Pair of Restrike Ukiyo-e Woodblocks on Paper
Item Details
A pair of restrike ukiyo-e woodblock prints on paper. First print is a restrike titled Actors As Samurai by Utagawa Kuniyoshi (Japanese; 1798 – 1861). The second print is a restrike titled Kiyaburo Masaki by Utagawa Kunisada (Japanese; 1786 – 1864). Each print is presented double matted under glass in a metal frame.
Condition
- some wear around the edges of the frame; each glass could benefit from a cleaning; to the verso, some wear to the protective matting.

- measurements of frame; measurements of visible work 8.5" W x 13.5" H; each work is approximately the same size.
