Item Details
A test proof colored intaglio print on paper titled Oiseau Mot Croise (Cross Word Bird). The work depicts colored fields with an abstracted bird shape with a grid pattern. To the lower print margin the work is inscribed ‘essai (test)’. The work is also signed illegibly in graphite. To the verso, the work is titled with a gallery label. Presented in a decorative white and black mat under glass with a painted black wooden frame.
Condition
- some scratches and wear to the frame; glass could benefit from a cleaning; to the verso, some wear to the protective backing.
