A low relief porcelain sculpture titled The Lady and the Unicorn, designed by listed artist George McMonigle (born 1951) for the Franklin Mint. This delicate blue and white piece uses layers of translucent porcelain to depict a young woman leading a leaping unicorn by a thick cord, the pair surrounded by flowers and greenery. This piece is mounted in a gold tone frame with a textile liner, and has a hanging wire and a certificate of authenticity from the Franklin Mint adhered to its verso.

- minor wear to surface of porcelain and frame; some staining to sculpture; black smudges to verso.
