1948 Original Coca-Cola Bottle Vending Machine
Item Details
An original and working 1948 Coca-Cola vending machine. This unrestored machine has been plugged in and is working. The refrigeration unit keeps the inside of the machine cooled for glass Coke bottles. The machine retains its bright red paint with white embossed lettering. In raised white script lettering it reads ‘Drink Coca-Cola In Bottles.’ On the side of the machine, there is a decal that states ‘Have A Coke.’ The inside manufacturer’s label is identified with letters and numbers. The original metal slot for coins is present, with a gray colored durable door that reads ‘Lift Door Remove Bottle’ in red letters with a picture of an ice cold Coke. The bottom portion of this unit has white embossed lettering that states ‘Ice Cold.’ Per owner, this mid-century American-made Coca-Cola machine was purchased in Cleveland, Ohio, at a gasoline station over thirty years ago. Three original keys are included.

- slight edge and surface paint loss. Overall, the paint is in very good, unrestored condition. Plugged in and in working condition. Per owner, the coin deposit mechanism is in working condition. Retains original heavy duty electrical cord.
