Collection of Six Antique Hand-colored Aquatint Etchings of Medieval Figures

A collection of six early 19th century hand-colored aquatint etchings that have been removed from a publication. Each depicts the colorful dress of historical figures from the Medieval period, including Officers of the Court of King Richard the Second, Soldiers from the Reign of King Henry the Third, and John Crosbie the Prior of Coventry. Each was etched by J. Atkinson after an original image by Charles Smith and published by Colnaghi & Co., London. Presented as a collection of loose prints. Each has a number wrtten in graphite to the lower right corner.

Condition

- toning and scattered light stains to prints. Minor curling to corners. Small tears and wear to edges where they were removed from publication.
